Brown Panda – Return & Refund Policy
1. Scope
This Return & Refund Policy applies to all purchases made from Brown Panda through our website brownpanda.in. By placing an order, you agree to the terms set out below, in addition to our Terms & Conditions and any mandatory rights you have under applicable law.
2. Standard return window – 7‑day easy return
We offer a 7‑day easy return window. You may request a return within 7 calendar days from the date you receive your order, as shown on the courier’s delivery status.
If the 7‑day period has passed, we are generally unable to offer a refund or exchange, except where required by applicable consumer law.
3. Eligibility for returns
To be eligible for a return:
- The item must be in the same condition that you received it – unworn, unwashed, unaltered and undamaged.
- All original tags and labels must be attached.
- The item must be in its original packaging (shirt cover, box, etc.).
- You must provide a valid order confirmation, invoice or proof of purchase.
Items showing signs of wear (stains, perfume or body odour, stretch, damage, wash marks, pet hair, etc.) or missing tags/packaging may be rejected and sent back to you.
4. Non‑returnable / final sale items
Unless required by law, we do not accept returns for:
- Gift cards or store credit vouchers.
- Items clearly marked “Final Sale”, “Non‑returnable” or similar on the product page.
- Items purchased from third‑party marketplaces or offline retailers (please contact them directly).
If any additional categories (for example, innerwear or personal care products) become non‑returnable in the future, they will be clearly marked as “Final Sale” on the product page.
5. Damaged, defective or wrong items
Please inspect your order on delivery and contact us immediately if:
- the item is defective or damaged; or
- you receive the wrong style, size or colour.

- your order number;
- clear photographs of the item and the issue; and
- the packaging label.
We will assess the issue and, where approved, offer a replacement, exchange or refund as appropriate.
6. How to request a return
To start a return, please email us at support@brownpanda.in with:
- your full name;
- order number;
- item(s) you want to return; and
- reason for return (size issue, changed mind, defect, wrong item, etc.).
If your return is accepted, we will:
- share return instructions and the return shipping address:

- and, where applicable, issue or confirm a return shipping label.
Important: Items sent back to us without first requesting a return and receiving approval may not be accepted.

7. Return shipping costs
Unless the return is due to a defect, damage in transit or our error (wrong item, wrong size shipped), you will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to us.
- For change‑of‑mind / size / fit returns, return shipping is borne by the customer.
- For approved defective / wrong item returns, we may provide a prepaid label or reimburse standard return shipping, at our discretion.
Any original shipping fees paid on the order are generally non‑refundable, except where required by law.
8. Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges through the website.
If you wish to change size or design:
- Request a return for the original item within 7 days.
- Once the return is approved and processed, place a new order for the desired item.
Where stock allows, we may offer a like‑for‑like replacement for defective items.
9. Inspection and refund process
Once we receive your return, we will:
- Inspect the item to confirm that it meets the eligibility conditions; and
- Notify you by email whether your return has been approved or rejected.
If approved:
- We will process a refund to your original payment method (unless otherwise agreed) within 10 business days of approval.
- Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the refund to your account.
If the return does not meet the stated conditions, we may:
- decline the refund and return the item to you; or
- offer a partial refund or store credit, at our discretion.
If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved and you have not received your refund, please contact us at support@brownpanda.in.
10. Repeated or abusive returns
We reserve the right to refuse returns or close accounts in cases of:
- repeated returns of worn or damaged items;
- suspected misuse of our 7‑day easy return policy; or
- fraud, chargeback abuse or other dishonest activity.
Such decisions will be made in accordance with applicable law.
